Casey Pilgreen formed the band "Casey Pilgreen and Born South" in 1998. In 1999, the band was voted "Texoma's Best" by the readers of The Times Record News in Wichita Falls, TX. Casey and the band won the "Battle of the Bands" in 2005 at the Comanche Red River Casino in Devol, OK. Casey released his first cd in 2002, his second in 2006, and just recently returned from Nashville, TN where he has begun work on his third album that will transform him from local hero to country superstar.
Casey Pilgreen and Born South perform across Texas & Oklahoma, and from Utah to Tennessee. Casey is an accomplished songwriter affiliated with the Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI), Ft. Worth Songwriters Association (FWSA), and is currently a writer with BMI.
Casey has performed in concert with many artists such as Chris LeDoux, Gary Stewart, Ricky Skaggs, Johnny Lee, Deryl Dodd, and Cross Canadian Ragweed to name a few.
