Bio

Casey Rivers began singing at the age of 3 at his country church in Lindale , Texas , where he was the lead singer and actor in most of the children's church and youth dramas. Casey performed at many of his hometown school talent shows throughout his childhood. His first public performance was at 6 years old, and at the age of 8, he was the entertainment at his first professional rodeo.

By the time Casey was 11, he decided on his dream – to become a successful country music artist. In high school, he received the Gold Music Award, an honor award in recognition of outstanding contributions and dedication to music. When Casey graduated from Lindale High School , he went full speed ahead with his music career by taking voice, stage, guitar and songwriting lessons. Casey found himself receiving numerous awards while following the Opry lines. As a fan of Elvis, country, '50s music, Broadway and gospel, his variety shows were a hit and transformed him into a character all his own. Casey quickly found himself opening and singing with professional recording artists from major record labels, further fueling his desire to reach the top of the music industry.

His biggest accomplishment to date has been earning the First Runner-up spot on USA Network’s TV show Nashville Star in early 2006 and performed as part of the official tour the following summer.
