Bio

Casey Sullivan is an aspiring songwriter from the outskirts of Boston. An ecclectic blend of folk, pop, and rock and roll, her music has attracted the attention of listeners since she began playing open mics at the tender age of 14.

Now, at 19 years old, she is preparing for the winter release of her debut album, "For the Birds". It is a collection of songs written from her teenage years, the chronicles of love and loss in a developing mind. Each song tells a relatable yet unique story in melodic poetry. The songs range in subject from "Baby Boy", a country-esque ballad about naive, young love, and "Heartbeat Cold", a haunting song about betrayal and confusion.

Her band has been playing around Boston for years. Goals for the future include touring the East Coast and recording another album. She is currently attending Berklee College of Music in Boston as a Songwriting major.

Has had the honor of playing with many amazing musicians such as:
James Montgomery
The Pousette-Dart Band
Jason Spooner
Chris O'Brien
Air Traffic Controller

Has been in several contests:
2007 Boston Folk Festival Songwriting Contest - 3rd Place
2009 Boston Folk Festival Songwriting Contest - Finalist
