Our Bay Area brother Mon$ta has just fowarded us “East Oakland“, the first single from his upcoming collaborative “Uptown Mon$ta” mixtape with fellow Green Ova and Ca$h Click member Uptown Greg. With the tape set to drop on November 30th, the upcoming month is looking to be a very prolific one from Mon$ta, who is also dropping his “Just Mon$ta” mixtape on October 20th. This comes just off the back of Mon$ta’s “I Live It” mixtape that dropped in June.

“Uptown Mon$ta” will see features coming from Main Attrakionz, Tha Jacka plus more, and with Main Attrakionz’ “Bossalinis and Fooliyones” album just around the corner too (steam it in full here) it goes to show that the whole Green Ova and Ca$h Click family are really on one at the minute. The Oakland duo's album is set to feature guest appearances from Gucci Mane, Shady Blaze, and Mon$ta, as well as production from Harry Fraud. It's this project that could take the buzzed-about underground collective to the next level. They've successfully cultivated interested with sick mixtapes and videos up until this point, but this is the the platform from the trippy-minded MCs to prove that they're more than just blog stars.
