Casie Luong

Casie Luong is a Vietnamese-American who has been described as a “quirky and energetic” performer on stage. She has made appearances on her college campus, local coffee shops, benefit concerts and singing competitions.

As a songwriter, she takes people’s experiences as well as her own, adds some instruments and let’s the song tell the tale. Her style ranges from choral, lyrical ballad, pop, gospel, soul to jazz. Many have compared her styles to Regina Spektor, Ingrid Michaelson, Norah Jones, Ella Fitzgerald and Sara Bareilles.

She founded and organized Resonance, a music benefit concert, at her college to raise money for Education through Music in fall of 2009, another concert in spring of 2010 to raise money for Live Beyond Crohns non profit and organized, “Two Can Share”, a benefit concert 2 years in a row on a larger scale in her local community to raise food and money for a local homeless shelter in fall of 2010 and 2011. Her hope is to inspire, teach music and bring people together for the sake of beautiful expression and honesty.
