"Weekend Wrap-Up"

You could say that the Red Bank Street Life series of outdoor musical performances, presented every midsummer Saturday night outside businesses in the RB business district, really hit its stride this year... Perhaps most fascinating is Carly McIlvaine, the trained soprano whose performances of opera and liturgical classics in unusual settings (she sang a couple of weeks back at the Atlantic Highlands Craft Fair) open up new possibilities for voice and venue. Look for her at Bellini Shoes on White Street. - Red Bank Orbit

"Opera in Monmouth Beach Cultural Center"

MONMOUTH BEACH, NJ - Opera will make its debut at the Monmouth Beach Cultural Center on Friday, September 26, 2008, when soprano Carly McIlvaine-Hall presents a program of some of the best-loved opera areas...She hopes the more relaxed atmosphere of the galleries than the traditional concert hall will attract more devotees to her love – opera. McIlvaine, who lives in Atlantic Highlands, has many years of professional singing experience in the United States, Zurich, Switzerland, and Beijing, China. During the 2007-2008 concert season, she was a professional member of the resident chorus of the New York’s Lincoln Center – the National Chorale.

"Library hosts Soprano Carly Mcilvaine"

"The Long Branch Public Library hosted classical soprano, Carly McIlvaine on Monday, December 1st in a wide-ranging program...

Carly warmed the hearts of the nearly 50 attendees with her amazing performance. She sang arias by Mozart and Puccini, some of her own compositions, and a mix of traditional winter melodies such as "Ave Maria" and "Walking in a Winter Wonderland." McIlvaine was helpful in explaining the opera stories, which enriched her audience's experience.

You can catch her at Lincoln Center this season. Check out her website, www.carlymcilvaine.com for more information and a schedule of her upcoming performances. She has a new CD due out in January. - The LINK News, Dec. 4-10, 2008

Her background may be in the academic realm of classical music, but Atlantic Highlands resident Carly McIlvaine is ready to dive head-first into the world of pop. McIlvaine released "Pro-Love," her self-produced debut disc of original songs and arrangements, earlier this year, and while the album has clear classical undercurrents, the singer said she isn't working to be a gateway for pop fans to get into classical music.

We are a folk-pop band that answers the questions of a generation coming of age. While we have all spent our lives dedicated to music, the journey that led us to each other was long and windy. We hope you enjoy our first project together as a group! The release of our debut CD "Second Chance" has been delayed due to Hurricane Sandy. We are now set to release officially in March 2013.
