Formed in 2018, Caskets is the brainchild of Charlatan guitarist Austin Blaine Heath.
"I started writing the first Caskets songs during one of the darkest points in my life. I had lost my job, was depressed, was closeted and terrified of coming out, and had suffered my first real heartbreak. I was lost in life, and decided to chronicle my heartache and adventure out of the dark with this music. This project is all about holding yourself personally responsible for putting your life in order, finding meaning and a purpose in life, and finding the strength in yourself to be brave and face down the demons that lie in ourselves and in what we fear most. Life is suffering, and we are all mortal, but we are strong enough to rise above our fallible nature and create a life that justifies the pain it takes to make it."
