"Live show review"

Cassidy has a sweet solid vocal range that navigates the listener through the stories of human experience with a taste of twang, timing and tact.

The classic country sound with the steel and fiddle and trusty bass, drums with Cassidy on acoustic guitar and Logan Keith on lead echoes a bit of classic influences but also has a touch of individuality that Cassidy is able to capture the listener with.
- Susan Williamson, Murfreesboro Music Review

"Showin' Some Love"

When I heard Cassidy's voice I was really blown away at how honestly country it was..it's real, not a fake. She is gifted with some real raw talent. Her love for the genre really comes through when she sings. You just don't hear that in much (if any) of today's country music. I'm not saying she sounds "old school" or anything like that...she just has a real country flair to her sound that is so missing on country radio today. But what is so cool about it is that it's still a modern kind of sound. She sings like a country artist from almost a different plane of existence that found a way to evolve correctly. - Chuck Schwartz, Nashville publisher

Bio

Singer/songwriter Cassidy Lynn mixes the simplicity of classic country music and the honest lyrics of her own life stories into one sweet contemporary sound.

Born and raised among the dairy farms of Upstate New York, Cassidy began singing when she first began to talk. She began performing publicly at age nine singing classic country songs such as Loretta Lynns Coalminers Daughter, Patsy Clines Crazy, and Patsy Montanas Cowboys Sweetheart. Soon she was given the opportunity to open for Charley Pride at the famous Cortland Country Music Park in Cortland, NY. Soon after, she shared the stage with country music trio "Trick Pony."

At sixteen, Cassidy Lynn landed herself a spot in a popular local band and soon began to teach herself to play the acoustic guitar. Together she and the band did some touring, playing state and county fairs, clubs, and casinos all over NY State.

It was then that Cassidy began doing live interviews on local radio stations and hosting her own "meet and greet" sessions. During this time, Cassidy Lynn opened for national recording artists Emerson Drive, Bucky Covington, Jason Michael Carroll, Tommy Cash, Josh Gracin, Trailer Choir, Bryan White, Ashton Shepherd, Sarah Johns, and John Michael Montgomery. Inspired by her familys cottage on the lake and their bonfires during summer nights, she co-wrote a song with Nashville songwriter Larry Wayne Clark called "Down By The Bonfire. The song and its video were featured on both GAC and CMT in the summer of 2008.

Along her journey to turn her dreams into reality, Cassidy got the humbling opportunity to perform at the historic Ryman Auditorium in Feb. '09 and '11. In June '10 she closed at the Riverfront Stage the final night of CMA Fest and most recently made her second appearance at the Bluebird Cafe! Cassidy graduated from Belmont University in Nashville in May '10. She continues to tour with her NY based band when she visits home and is actively playing, writing, and recording in Nashville. You can see Cassidy playing around town so be sure to stop out and say hello!
