Bio
North Shore musician Cassandra Lees is an acoustic guitar player and vocalist offering popular folk, rock, and jazz covers ranging through the decades. She has spent the past 15 years studying music, with a background in flute and wind instruments. Recently, her acoustic performance of “All I Ever Do” by The Lone Bellow was described on SoundOut.com as a “very sincere and emotional portrayal of love” as well as “very authentic, sweet and even enchanting”.
Having released her first guitar/voice EP in June 2013, Cassie is currently performing locally in the Salem/Beverly area while working on several collaborative recording projects with On the Fringe Studios. The 24-year old musician is working on releasing an LP in fall 2013 with a plan to feature both original and cover songs.
The up and coming artist is available for a range of instruments including flute, saxophone, clarinet, guitar and voice. She received her training at Salem State University and has studied privately with Ken Clarke, Jared Holaday, Erica Cloutier, Peggy Freidland, and Les Harris, Sr.
