Music has been deeply rooted in Cassie's life ever since her mom nudged her into it at the age of 4. Her mother began telling everyone," my baby is going to be a star." Unfortunately due to her passing, 11 years ago she will not be able to watch her daughter perform live in front of her first audience of 20,000, or be there to see her accept her first music award. Cassie has turned this event of adversity into driving force in her career.
