I was passing by Curtain Club a few months back when I heard this band from outside. I’ll be the first to admit I’m not into a lot of the heavier acts that play Curtain Club. Pearland based Castaway Radio, however, come closer to indie rock than heavy rock. This is a young band that I could imagine developing a strong fan base. - Ghost of Blind Lemon
It's got that signature Castaway Radio clean guitar riff thing going on and a catchy melody. I dig the title too; I enjoy it when the title of a song isn't just whatever someone is saying in the chorus. This EP is gonna rock! - Roughkast

Imagine the Arctic Monkeys and Franz Ferdinand had a kid, but one of them had an affair with The White Stripes while The Black Keys raided the fridge. This love triangle would give you Castaway Radio’s catchy, “unique kind of throwback sound” (Dean and Rog, Houston Eagle). The band has gone through transformations and contributors since its conception, helping the band develop, each step of the way. Castaway Radio brings a polished, high-energy, down to earth performance that creates an instant crowd connection.
