Bio
Castro Radio’s style is alternative blues-rock, blending
edgy, bluesy riffs with lyrics inspired by an irreverent spirituality, and
fascination with metaphysical concepts.
The resulting sound is reminiscent of Lenny Kravitz vocally, with heavy
and catchy blues influenced guitar work reminiscent of Jimi Hendrix, Jack White,
and The Black Keys. Add intricate
work on the upright bass, and infectious drum beats to create a surprisingly
full, hard hitting, and infectious sound.
