Catalyst

Catalyst

BandRockAlternative

Catalyst is a groove-oriented ,Rock band with incredibly soulful vocals, and big, fat guitar rhythms.

Biography

Catalyst has been opening for National Acts in Seattle since 1990. Catalyst is different in that the lead vocalist has an extremely soulful (blues- based feel or style)vocal over the top of heavy, but melodic, and musical groove-oriented guitar rhythms. And the guitar prowess is definately to be seen, heard, and felt. Craig Nicholson is the key writer in the band and his influences vary from "The Isleys Bros", "Stylistics",and Paul McCartney; to Van Halen and Pat Travers. Guitar Influences vary from Jimmy Page, Jimi Hendrix, and Randy Rhodes; to Eddie Van Halen and Pat Travers. Stage presence and performance is strong, passionate, and imposing. Percussion by Kevin Crocker is to be experienced as he is musically and visually mind-blowing; with creative, colorful, and technically proficient style.
