Our story is from long ago- starting in an era of flannel shirts and cassettes, hard-edged rock that had no barriers, had a lot of heart and didn't really care what kind of result happened. Now there are many influences, from Jimi to REM, from Meat Puppets to Residents, from Frank Zappa to Mahler and back, from Ravi Shankar to Wes Montgomery, from Miles Davis to Queen. Lots from the past. But our band members listen to a huge variety of genres of music
Our journey was inspired by our friend Ken Wait, who has passed away and was a true rock star- a shining heart who kicked us into gear.
We look for ways to have fun with our music although we are aging urban and suburban rockers; we like the beach and mountains and surfing and working and hanging out with family, hanging out with friends- music is the universal force we gravitate towards to feel connected to ourselves. It is a great moment to experience and re-generate when we can.
