From the heart of Centeral Texas emerges a hip-hop artist, who is poised to take the music industry by storm! Catastrophic Dalpheni, is an urban story teller, who chronicles the daily struggles faced by todays youths by transforming life on the streets into a creative musical narrative.
Born Christopher Corey Smith, "Catastrophic", grew on the mean streets of East Waco, where as a pre-teen he was swept up into a life of hustling that led to a 8 year felony probation sentance in which he violated and was shipped to prison with additional years added on. Armed with his own life experinces and a desire to suceed, Catastrophic took his considerable talents into the metropolitian area of Houston to embark on a career in music.
As 12 -year veteran of recording, Catastrophic has worked for Major-Indie labels such as Top Knotch records and Short Stop Records. His credits includes appearences on serveral albums and penning opne platinum song for artist "Lil Troy"
After creating an underground buzz with his solo debut,"Broken Silence", Catastrophic is ready to unleash his highly anticipated nationally streaming live album "Written In Blood"
Coming has come up from the lower parts of his hometown, & took his career serious @ 15 landing himself on a regionaly sold album to the tune of 25,000 copies, then onto a Platinum album in 2001. Since then Catastrophic has been stroming through his city featuring on many projects and is now ready to release his own on his very own label Serving My Purpose. After loosing his C.E.O. to a Drug sentance of 30 years FEDERAL Catastrophic has decide to pick up the ball and keep going!
