Bio
Catherine Kimbro & band, born in Lawrenceville, Georgia, was raised on classic country and gospel music so it was a natural progression for her to go from singing in the car to hitting the stage at an early age. Her love and passion for music drove her straight into creating her own. She began writing at age ten and picked up the guitar five years later which allowed her to grow and develop her craft. While she loves any kind of music she can get her hands on, her songs always go back to her roots. After cutting her first demo, “Racing”, at sixteen she gave them to anyone and everyone who cared to listen. The songs caught like wildfire and quickly became favorites in Metro Atlanta and beyond. Her music reaches others in a way that only music can. Some of her achievements and fondest memories include being invited to play at the much sought-after Writer’s Night at the Bluebird Cafe in Nashville, Tennessee and being played on Atlanta’s 94.9 The Bull’s Backyard Country program. Most recently, she spent a few weeks in Nashville recording her new album, “Someday” released in early January.
