I'm a Berklee College of Music grad who took almost 20 years off from music in order to raise my 3 sons. In 2010 I went to Newfoundland, Canada to explore my roots and get to know my family there, many of whom are musicians. After playing and singing with them, I realized how much I missed music, and upon returning home to Cape Cod I began writing and performing again. I have not stopped since.
Most of my songs are about life, love, loss, and hope. Most of my musical influences are Newfoundland/Canadian singer-songwriters as well as my family. I've been told I sound like Joan Baez, Joni Mitchell, and Sarah McLachlan, but you be the judge.
