Catherine Michelle is a spunky singer/songwriter from Austin, Texas who focuses on conveying her experiences through soulful and skillful songwriting. Her music can best be described as indie soul pop but includes hints of several different genres. She incorporates elements of timeless female jazz artists such as Ella Fitzgerald and Billie Holliday while drawing from popular modern rock influences like Jeff Buckley and John Mayer. The unique niche in which her songs can be categorized is a testament to Catherine Michelle's desire to challenge the conventional bounds of popular music. Since her artist launch in September of 2017, Catherine has been playing various shows in the Austin area. She is currently in Nashville, Tennessee recording and producing her debut record.
