"Michael Patterson's Review"

-- Cathy Serrano's album of Native American flute music is absolutely beautiful. Cathy is a great champion of the Fort Wayne area's musicians and a wonderful singer/storyteller in the best tradition. Oh, by the way, she's one of the best live performers you'll hear around because she really cares about reaching her audience. - www.yanmmusic.com/updates.html

""Hopeful Cat" CD Review"

Excerpt of review from the "Hopeful Cat in a Dog's World" CD Review: "Cathy Serrano weaves a haunting and somber spell with an extended solo passage on the Native American flute (jarringly interspersed with snippets of a radio interview with Dave Nelson and bits of Gillespie sutdio wonderment). . ." - www.whatzup.com/Music/cd021005a.html

"Jeers & Cheers Section - The Post & Mail"

Cheers to Cathy Serrano and the Cool Music for Warm Nights free summer concert series. Her relaxing vocal selections were perfect for ending a busy Saturday. - The Post & Mail, Columbia City, July 14, 2004

Bio

I am a self-taught acoustic guitarist, and songwriter. My songs are folk/country in influence. I have strong influences from the sixties, James Taylor, Joni Mitchell, Joan Baez, and would say I am heavily influenced by artists like Kasey Chambers, a popular country singer from Australia, or Ryan Adams. An attorney by education, I picked up the guitar while studying law, and found my true passion in life. I've now been playing guitar since 2002.

I am often repeat-booked at venues that like original music such as Starbucks Coffee Houses, Deer Park Irish Pub in Fort Wayne, and The Cellar in Kentucky.
