"Pat Lezizmo ft. Cato, "Prophets And Sages" | Review"

Atjazz always delivers a quality remix

Muzik And Friends label boss Pat Lezizmo drops a quality vocal house cut. With silky words from Cato, a catchy chorus, shuffling rhythm and stylish synths, this is classy stuff. Atjazz is on remix duties and hands in a dependably brilliant take on the original that's full of depth and gives it a nudge onto the dancefloor - he's a producer whose move into the big league is well over due. 8/10

March, 2016 - MixMag

"AFROPUNK Mixtape #013: Year In Black"

This year welcomed the release of some powerful and beautifully written music - singles and albums that not only expressed strong messages, but stood as soundtracks to the many social moments that took place across the world, from Baltimore to Cape Town. This isn't a ranking. This isn't just a best of mixtape. This is in no particular order and incompletely the best, the most notable, the most powerful, the most empowering, the most heartbreaking, the most memorable, and the most beautiful tracks of 2015. Stream below (featuring music from Alabama Shakes, Kendrick Lamar, Adia Victoria, Young Fathers, D'Angelo, Death Grips & more). - AFROPUNK

"[Premiere] Cato - Euphoria"

Brooklyn-based soul music singer/songwriter Cato premieres with us today a new song called “Euphoria,” an optimistic Motown-like ditty, aimed to promote the pursuit of happiness. - Singersroom.com

"BEHOLD THE SECRET LIFE OF CATO"

Cato appeared on the music radar in 2013 with ‘Honey Drip’, a sultry song he reworked into a House hit with Producer/DJ Raffa “Moon Rocket” Scoccia. The song, which is mature and can remind hardcore house listeners of Ralf GUM’s ‘Take Me To My Love,’ picked up more play outside U.S. borders in South Africa, Angola, Italy, United Kingdom and Jamaica. - Pop-Break.com

"Life of Cato: Recording Artist Review"

Cato exemplifies a fusion of different genres of music. I would describe his sound as eclectic and effortless soul music. His music has a very fresh and simplistic sound where his vocals rarely compete with the instruments included on his tracks. - Urban Superego

"New Artist Spotlight: Cato “Do It Again”"

Cato is an NJ-born, Brooklyn-based soul music singer/songwriter. He was raised on a mixture of Motown greats, 70s funk, 80s power ballads, and 90s Gospel, Hip-hop, and R&B, making Cato‘s sound a unique, honest, and evolving blend of eras. - You Know I Got Soul

"Le son du jour : Cato - "Do It Again" // la face classe du RnB"

Il est la nouvelle pépite soul/RnB de la côte Est. Natif du New Jersey, désormais basé à Brooklyn, Cato, chanteur/songwriter au style vocal sobre et élégant a bien voulu répondre aux quelques questions que l'on se posait au moment où son premier single, Do It Again, se fait un nom sur la Toile. - La Voix Du Nord

"Cato – Do It Again – Cato’s Debut Single @LifeofCato"

Do It Again” is about the desperation you feel when someone you love just gives up on you. - On the Scene: New York
