Causeway

Causeway

BandRock

Putting a new twist on an old theme, Causeway's beer-drenched, no-frills sound reaches into a rock n' roll bag of tricks to pull out foot-stomping riffs and inescapable melodies.

Biography

Born from the ashes of the recent economic disaster, Causeway plays no nonsense rock ‘n’ roll. The band, which calls Boston home, takes its musical cues from a diverse cast that includes Elvis Costello, KISS, Jeff Buckley and Foo Fighters. Live –sweat and raw emotion tell the story. Their debut EP, in the mix (recorded in The Red Room by Adam Rourke, ex-Noelle/Damone) was released in the fall of 2002. Causeway immediately developed a strong following playing shows throughout the Boston area including The Middle East (downstairs) and TT the Bear’s Place in Cambridge, MA with airplay from local radio stations. The buzz surrounding the band led to a live in–studio acoustic performance on WAAF (107.3 FM, Boston).

Causeway will be gigging around New England, Baltimore, New York and beyond through 2003 before returning into the studio to record a full length record.
