A happenin' duo made up of two singer/songwriters ... a girl and a guy who turn out tight harmonies and catchy original songs that will keep you humming. Causeway tours as both an acoustic duo and with their full band.

Causeway is a male/female duo made up of Zach Hurd and Barbara Pecirep. They started working as a duo at Wheaton College (near Boston, MA ) and have been playing together professionally for the past three years. Their tight harmonies and catchy original songs have a style that likens them to that of great 60’s/70’s songwriters while maintaining their own unique, contemporary approach. They've had comparisons to artists such as: Fleetwood Mac, James Taylor, Everything but the Girl, Jack Johnson and Eva Cassidy. Causeway tours both as an acoustic act and as a full band.

They have self-produced two albums, "Parallel Lines" and "Endless Summer." Radio play, NACA showcases, college shows, and regular New York City, Boston and Philly gigs have helped them acquire an ever-increasing fan base. They have shared the stage with such artists as Gavin DeGraw, Amos Lee, and Tyler Hilton.
