The best kept secret in music

The first time I heard of Fenix Phoundation was from a friend who was asking me if I had ever heard of them. This began my quest to find out more about the buzz surrounding this band. My first stop was their website, I listened and looked around. Pretty cool I thought. Then I heard that they were playing at Little Brother's and I had to go.
Fast forward to the show. The show started up with Cavendish and Trapper John opening. Both bands put on a good show. - Alpher DeLinovich (Oct 31, 2000)

Bio
The legend of Cavendish started in the year of 2000. Brett met Jason through mutual cringe classified ads and associated friends. They started the band with David Whittaker and Christian Volpe, on bass guitar & drums respectively. Volpe moved on to greener pastures and his place was taken by Byron Weaver. This format of the band lasted until late 2001, when Brett left the band. The remaining trio carried on until Byron left in 2002. Jason & David continued playing as a duo in early 2003 and quietly disbanded. Then in early 2004, Brett & Jason hooked back up. Timothy filled in the bass role that was left open and the trio practiced for a couple of months. Jacob joined sometime in spring 2004 on percussion. Hence, Cavendish was reborn and the story continues.
