Bio
Blessed by the angel of music, Cavy (Kevin Reeves) felt the gift at an early age. Cavy attended the Erv Bates School of Percussion where he was professionally educated on the fundamentals of the drum and it’s rudiments. Cavy also attended the Emerson School for the Visual & Performing Arts as a drum & percussion major where he studied Music Theory, Music Harmony, Music History Composition as well as Transposition. Different performances experiences such as multiple Emerson Bands, All City Band, & All City Jazz Band, helped to cultured his ear. He also has participated in such plays such as Cats, Guys & Dolls, Joseph & his Amazing Tecni-Color Dream Coat, which helped to groom him for his rightful place on stage, where he firmly believes in giving a good show. Not only does Cavy perform on stage, but he also works as a Music Producer, Song Writer,Music Arranger and Studio Owner/Engineer located in Houston, TX.
Having worked with nationally known artist such as 8 BALL & MJG (Bad Boy Ent.)Scarface (Def Jam South/ Rap-A-Lot), Andre’ 3000 (Outkast), E--40 (Sik Wid It), Choppa (Making The Band/Bad Boy South), Bigg Gipp (Goodie Mob,Dirty Ent. Dungeon Family),
Destiny’s Child (Music World/Columbia), Busihwick Bill (Rap-A-Lot) Willie D (Rap-A-Lot), Sleepy Brown (Dungeon Family, Choppa (Body & Head Ent.) & many more up and coming artist has help inspire Cavy to surpass the milestones of others as well as personally set goals. Cavy give birth to a combination of reflections of years gone by with a new bluesey hip hop based ingredients list.
