Bio

In the summer of 2013, Cayley sang at Edmonton Folk Festival, including a performance on the main stage for an audience of 20,000 people. She also appeared at the 2013 Canmore Folk Music Festival. The past year she played in Vancouver, Kelowna, Banff, Calgary, Red Deer and Lethbridge as well as regular gigs in Edmonton. While travelling in S.E. Asia in the winter of 2014, she also had the opportunity to perform in Nepal and Cambodia.

Although only 23 years of age, Cayley has been studying and performing for years. Classically trained in voice & theatre, her credits include a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting from the University of Alberta. She has been seen in theatrical productions on Edmonton's 'main stages:' the Winspear, the Citadel Theatre, the Timms Centre, and the Hawrelak Park amphitheater. She is also an accomplished singer-songwriter performing original songs at various venues across Canada.

In August 2013, Cayley released her debut five song EP "Ash Mountains." She wrote the album after the loss of her brother Alex Thomas-Haug. The CD is a glorious first offering with vocals loaded up with character and sincerity. "Ash Mountains" reached 3rd on the CKUA charts.

In 2015, Cayley will be releasing her debut full length record, embark on a national tour, and play dates in Iceland as part of a Cultural Exchange between Reykjavik Tourism Board and Alberta Music.
