Short waves transport the universe and the vocals of Éric Auclair and Christine Maisonneuve beyond what could seem strangely airborne. C:BE present a variety of captivating atmospheres, stemming from an eclectic fusion of sound samples, from acoustic instruments and human voices.
Bass player and double bassist having received at first classical training in percussion, Éric Auclair has accompanied some of the biggest in Quebec (Michel Cusson, Karen Young, etc...) as much in studio as on tour. He also dedicates himself to the composition in the field of jazz and electronic music where he evolves and thrives like a fish in water.
The melodies offered in the spellbinding voice belong to Christine Maisonneuve, interpreter and inspired creator, open to generously sharing the abundant collection of profound harmony that she draws from her source. From the first note we’re both surprised and enchanted by her voice and their universe.
