"CC Clover"

“ CC projects mostly with authority and strong passion but also has a softer side. The overall song performances are smooth and nicely produced. The band's stage presentation is excellent”

Bio

2012 was quite a year for CC Clover. In June, she was offered a record deal with Ingrooves/Fontana. It was a chance to live out her dream and she began work on the recordings that would become "Save Me."

Most of the basic tracks had been recorded the previous year by her band, which broke up later that year. When Ingrooves Records contacted CC Clover, she went back to the studio to finish the project.

There were plans to record another song for the EP, but Huricane Sandy wiped out the studio where she had been recording. Save Me, an outtake from the sessions, already finished, became more relevant in light of the hurricane because it was a song about being rescued from the storm. On October 29 2012, CC Clover and her family had to be rescued from their home by National Guard troops.

CC Clover lost everything; including her home, her music studio and her car to Hurricane Sandy. She was living in Long Beach, which was hit very hard by the Superstorm. What she did not lose is her need to perform her songs. Many of these songs draw from her life's experience.

CC Clover has been singing since the age of five. It started when her mother heard her singing along with the Michael Jackson song "Ben". Her mother, an opera singer, accomplished pianist and songwriter took her to her uncle's recording studio in upstate New York to record her voice. That's when CC Clover discovered that singing was her true love.

She went to auditions for plays and movies. She enrolled herself into the local theater guild for musical plays and was in the choir every year throughout high school. She then began going to local open mic, competitions and began singing in front of large audiences. She was well received and won most of the competitions.

CC Clover auditioned for American Idol, waiting two days with over 640 contestants in New York. She made the top 20. It didn’t matter that she didn’t win but that she tried and did well. That spurred her to work a little harder.

She knew she needed to start her own Band. She called it “The Afu Band” (All Fired Up.) The band performed all around Manhattan and Long Island and at New York State Festivals.

She knows that many people will benefit from her music she says “I know and feel it every day that there something special about it”
