CCCP's co-founders, Peter Denny (vocals, guitar) and Tacket Brown (drums), created this project with the objective of fusing together Brit style indie rock with ambient over-tones to create a unique and original voice. Without alienating their listeners, they have created a sound that is both fresh and renewing yet also familiar as far as pop standards are concerned.
Tacket comes from a classical background studying music at the prestigious School of Music at the University of Michigan. He brings a wide pallete of texture and knowledge of a wide variety of styles to the table. Peter comes from a classically trained background as well and is influenced by underground European independent musicians. His guitar and vocal style combine to produce an articulate yet refreshing musical experience.
CCCP has played to excited audiences in Seattle at venues such as the historic Central Saloon, TOST, The Rainbow and the Experience Music Project's Liquid Lounge.
