C.Clear is no stranger to the necessary Grind of this industry. Born in Queens NY, She flips various styles as a singer/poet/songwriter and whatever hat necessary to get her point across. Best known for her live shows, her presence and smile captivates audiences of all genres, ages and ethnicities. With a mic and preferably a live band she is a force to be reckoned with. She has opened for artist such as Cee-lo Green (of Gnarls Barkley), Raheem Devaughn, Aretha Franklin, and Beyonce and rocked historic stages as the "Black Lily" and Ashford and Simpson’s “The Sugar Bar.” C.Clear has been compared to Floetry, Lauryn Hill and a modern version of Ella Fitzgerald with a twist of Billy Holiday. Her flow takes Hip hop and fuses it with a Gospel Truth Message that is positive and relevant to Love, Life, and the Hood from a Lady's perspective. Media Mogul Kathy Hughes, when inviting her to perform at the 25th Anniversary Gala for Radio One stated, “I feel like Christopher Columbus discovering America.” C.Clear has made her presence felt in front of audiences that read like a whose who of the industry, Janet Jackson, Jermaine Dupree, Jay-Z and Mathew Knowles to name a few. Her live performance has been given praise out of the mouths of music legends like Kirk Franklin and the late Gerald Levert. As a solo artist and owner of Clear 7 Entertainment, C.Clear has taken steps to further her career in an industry that is saturated with similar styles. Having put out an EP independently, (one which sold out immediately) she is making strides to learn from her past experience while working diligently to promote her up and coming album, which she considers her true debut project. “A Souldiers Story,” is a collaboration of in studio recordings and a live in concert performance.
