C+C=Maxigross is a psych-folk collective from the italian mountain village of Vaggimal. They're inspired by holy mountains and alpin choir experience mixed with Beach Boys and CSN&Y armonies. Plus a lot of acid-folk and some Os Mutantes spirit.
They've bought a white magic van to travel all over the world and so they're a doing! After a year of never ending tour everywhere in Italy (with band like Yann Tiersen, Matt Elliott, The Emeralds & many more) and a small EP ("Singar", 2011 Vaggimal Records/42 Records) the collective has completed their first LP "Ruvain". Featuring tunes recorded on a 8-track by Marco Fasolo (Jennifer Gentle, Sub Pop) and other songs recorded by the own band in their mountain studio, it takes inspiration by the life on the tour van, the places and the people met around Italy, and the musicians that have played with, as Honeybird & The Birdies or Marco Fasolo himself. Without forgetting all their collective friends and the life in Lessinia.
Live recordings, vintage instruments and old recording equipment for deepnight jam sessions in a silent house between the woods.
