Ceallach

Irish-Australian Ceallach (pronounced Kel-ach and either meaning "church-goer" or "brilliant hair"...because you needed to know that) is a perfomer,composer and producer of Celtic-influenced world music that has been compared to the likes of Enya and Enigma. And while that may not mean much to you, in some circles that's quite an achievement.
For We ARe Many and Walks in Beauty were both originally written as movie sound tracks, with the former paintin images of a Lord Of The Rings - type epic, while the latter takes its name from the 1814 Lord Byron poem.
The music is suitably lush and dramatic, full of harps, orchestral swells and traditional Irish instruments, while Ceallach's voice is soft and expressive. It's not the typical street-press reader's favourite music type, and it probably never will be, but if your'e ever looking for the polar opposite of dance rock and glitchy electronica, Ceallach will be waiting for you...................

She's a singer, a composer, an arranger, a performer and a producer. Walking in the footsteps of the women who inspired her, Ceallach likens her talents to those of Enya and Loreena Mckennitt. Her Celtic New Age music also tends to lean on World and Classical music as well. Ceallach has released two singles: "She Walks In Beauty," based off the poem by Lord Byrons, as well as "For We Are Many," a song that would be well-suited for a soundtrack for a feature film.
Her talent is amazing. Great things are coming for this Australian singer/composer.
