Cease to Xist

In 2007, long time friends Travis and Zac wanted to put a band together. They talked about it forever but could never find a drummer until Matt was found through other friends. A few practices later, BAM! Cease to Xist was born!! A few practices after that, BAM! Zac left the band! In the time Travis and Matt kept writing and Travis asked his best friend, John, if he would be interested in vocals. John agreed and the rest is history! Ever since then we have been 500% committed to the band, playing music, writing music, booking shows, recording, etc. Anything to get our name out there. We come from Allentown, PA where it's a majority of rap and hip-hop so to have a metal band in the city trying to do what we are, makes us seem impossible to notice but we push through it and punch you in the face until you're listening! We have been influenced by so many people and different people for each of us. Ranging from Lamb of God, Devil Driver, Ozzy, Maiden, and even HIM and The Cure. We are in this for the long haul and hope something happens of it, either way we will be in the game til we're in the ground! Welcome to the Revolution!!!
