The renowned Cece Teneal began her musical journey more than 13 years ago. After singing in various venues throughout the Central Florida region, she released her debut blues album, “Train from Osteen,” in front of a sold out crowd. Cece has traveled the world entertaining lovers of blues and soul and had the honor of gracing the stage before Buddy Guy, Joe Cocker, Johnny Lang, Trombone Shorty, and the legendary B.B. King.

Biography

Miss Cece Teneal grew up with her grandparents in a small town called Osteen, just outside of Orlando, Florida. She remembers hearing her grandmother say “What God has for you is for you!” Cece’s life journey is a testimony to those words. It was never her dream to be a singer. She never envisioned herself on stage with her name in lights. Her desire was the American Dream: a house, a family, and a white picket fence; however, God had a different plan.

various venues throughout the Central Florida region, her career was catapulted to new heights when she was selected as the lead singer for B.B. King’s Blues Club. There, she released her debut blues album, “Train from Osteen,” in front of a sold out crowd. Cece has traveled the worldentertaining lovers of blues and soul and had the honor of gracing the stage before Buddy Guy,Joe Cocker, Johnny Lang, Trombone Shorty, and the legendary B.B. King, to name a few.

As a child, Aretha Franklin her reason for singing. Franklin inspired Miss Teneal with her stunning voice and captivating stage presence. This inspiration has motivated Cece to create a complete Vegas-style tribute show in Franklin’s honor. Miss Teneal has been an advocate for community-based arts and entertainment events for more than 10 years. She perfected her vocal talent to become sheer artistry, and has mentored countless accomplished and up-and-coming artists.

Dubbed as the “voice of the century”, Cece Teneal is a 
blues-centric soprano with a soul-stirring voice. Fans, spectators, music critics, musicians, industry peers, and many others say that Miss Teneal is a musical force like no other. Her power, presence, and passion on stage create an experience that attendees readily bill as good for the soul Cece considers herself to be a “little ole country girl” who wants to make people feel good. Miss Teneal believes that if for just one night she can replace the cares of life and fill listeners’ hearts with joy, peace, and music, accolades and titles are not necessary. When asked what she thinks about her grandmother’s words of wisdom,Miss Teneal says, “My Grandma was right! What God has for me IS for me. This music thing IS definitely for me. Now that I know that for sure, it’s my pleasure to share it with the world.”
