Hailing from highschool Jazz band, these twenty somethings have moved on to families and jobs, but haven't forgotten the most important thing in their lives: music.
Danny (drums, guitar) had been doing solo music while putting himself through recording school by recording various local bands in his home recording school for a few years when he got a call from his old friend Ryan Bailey (keyboards).
One drink turned into several and the two were jamming, when it was realized, it's time to start a band! Danny called Brian (bass) who also was in high school Jazz band, who called Bruce (trumpet) and celeste was formed.
Their influences include, Chick Corea, Herbie Hancock, Miles Davis, Louis Armstrong, and many other legendary figures from Jazz history.
Their music is an ecclectic blend of a wide range of styles from Jazz, to funk, to rock, to downright strange and extremely technical.
Their music has been described as "extremely fresh" and usually brings such comments as "I've never heard anything like this before, brilliant!"
But there really is no describing Celeste, you just have to listen.
