Bio
Perth outfit celladore have just released their debut recording Hole in the Wall, a three track single which blends gorgeous acoustic sounds with an exquisite amalgamation of three female vocalists.
The sweet sounds of celladore were brought to life back in 2001, when vocalist Nadine Harmeston and dual guitarists Maree Nicholls (12 string) and Shivaun Brereton-Smith (6 string) formed a three piece acoustic act while studying the renowned music course at Perth’s Leederville TAFE. After a few line-up changes and now with the current line-up of Jarrad Clarke (bass) and Brant Ward (drums) the celladore of today delves into a more pop/rock driven edge.
Gathering a sway of original tunes under their belt and gaining support slots for the likes of the Shout Out Louds (Sweden), celladore hit the studio mid 2006 to record the Hole in the Wall single. The band recorded their strongest live numbers, accentuating an interesting vocalist who can weave her way through melody beautifully, backed by a band bearing strength, cohesion and confidence.
2007/2008 look to be promising years for celladore, as they continue to gain good supports and work towards the release of their debut EP.
