Prolific and expressive, BRAVO is a veteran performer breathing new life into the roots reggae musical environment along with Censor City Band. Their well crafted songs have an earthiness which compliments lyrics that display a conscious good nature and an affirmation of life. - Sal Principato, producer, promoter - Universal Productions
I really like his vibe. His music honestly upholds the integrity of roots reggae music. - Quinn, owner - Solomon’s Porch Café, Bedford Stuyvesant, NY

Bio
Bravo, singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, has been playing music since his youth in Clarendon Parish, Jamaica. He began singing solo in his hometown of Racecourse at the age of twelve. He then learned to make and engineer sound equipment and to make instruments, building his first electric guitar at the age of sixteen.
As a young adult, Bravo put together more than five bands while playing for the hotels on the north coast of Jamaica. He then played rhythm guitar on tour with several known reggae artists including the Gladiators, JahMali, Anthony B and Sizzla.
Always a trend setter, Bravo was one of the innovators as artists were influencing each other during the birth of the roots reggae sound in Jamaica. One could say his music is most like Albert Griffiths, Peter Tosh or Bob Marley, though it is truly his own original sound.
In the United since States since 1998, Bravo has finally produced his first CD entitled WHY CAN’T I. He has been performing solo and with his new band around the NYC area, Censor City Band is prepared to perform Bravo’s vast repertoire of original real roots rock reggae tunes wherever concious audiences abide.
