Bio
The Centrafrican Jazz starded in 1965 with the great guitarist Prosper Mayele. Quickly the band is on the top of the chart. With Matalaki, Mimox and Dr Wesh. the band find the simple words and the beautiful melodies to talk about stories of central african life. Empereur Bokassa put the quite band in jail and stop the activities more than 15 years ...
In 1995 the band begin a collaboration with Regis Sissoko the owner of "studio Bonga Bonga" in Bangui.
Now Centrafrican Jazz is on stage in Central African and perform also in Cameroun and Chad. He was also invited to the last Edition of MASA in Abidjan.
