"Unexpected Police Encounter: DC officer plays ball with musicians"

DC artist Ceo Son Son and other DC artists were shooting a music video at a basketball court on Georgia Ave NW when a DC police officer showed up they assumed it was bad news, they didn’t expect what happened next.

“We [saw] a cop come up and we got all nervous and stuff, like aw man they’re about to shut us down or whatever. So the cop came up and he’s basically like, opening his arms, like ‘nah I want to play.’ Know what I’m saying?” said DC artist CEO Son Son.

In this video shot by CEO Son Son (twitter / Instagram @ceosonson) you can see the dc officer in uniform, shooting hoops with the group and having a blast!

“We was balling with the kids having fun. We see a cop pull up, we thought we were about to get pressed out you know,” said Solo, another artist that was with the group.

But instead of shutting their shoot down, they say the officer was even in the music video!

“It actually shocked me it gave me a great insight, you know, outlook on cops now. You know, cause it’s like, you know we were expecting him to shut us down, tell us all to go home. But when he actually came and played over with us, I was like man you know that’s a good look on all the MPD that's in DC ,” Said CEO Son Son.

Ceo Son Son and the other artists said they don't even know the officer’s name! He came and went, and they continued shooting the music video.

But they're happy this happened and from now on they'll have a more positive attitude about encounters with cops because of the actions of one DC officer and they wanted to share their story. - Fox 5 News

Bio

CeoSonSon was born Vincent Romel Irving Jr., on April 14, 1989, and reared up, intermittently, in all four quadrants of Washington, D.C.

He grew up in a single parent household, with his mother and three sisters. He is the only boy, and falls second in line; of his siblings. Although a junior, unfortunately CeoSonSon never had a close knit relationship with his father. But, he was Blessed to have his paternal grandfather in his life, who stood in, in his father's stead.

CeoSonSon was taught in the Christian Faith, and attended ''The Temple Of Praise'', in Washington, D.C. regularly, and because of his Spiritual upbringing, he hasn't had any legal issues, and for the most part, is considerably an all around peaceful, respectful and loyal individual. He had his only daughter, who is the apple of his eye, at the tender age of 14, and he attended Wilson Senior High School in upper NW. But, because of the need and call, upon his life, financially, he was not able to finish.

CeoSonSon, has never signed a major record deal, yet he began his own record label (Back and Forth Entertainment - BnF Ent.), by himself; from start to finish, even without any pre-existing knowledge, of exactly what was necessary, in order for him to flourish, and be successful.

With determination and dedication at the forefront of his endeavor, little by little, he purchased all the materials for his home-based music studio, where he worked tirelessly, at crafting and perfecting each sound, in his catalog, housed with BMI, and widely available for the world's enjoyment.

Tired of living the street life, that would only lead him to a predictable future; in 2015, CeoSonSon began to reevaluate his life, and press forward, toward his, once buried/hidden dreams and aspirations. This caused him to start focusing his time, energy and money into his creative talents, gifts and skills, and over the past 4 years, he has elevated tremendously; and touching the masses, by way of Sirius XM, Shade45, iTunes, Spotify, HipHop Nation, Pandora, Tidal and Spinrilla.

CeoSonSon's notable expertise includes, but is not limited to, his music, which is flourishing tremendously, and returning a mass of positive feedback and requests, by leaps and bounds, causing him to seek out investors/sponsors, who could assist him in the continuum of his entertainment endeavors.

Also, he enjoys VLogging, where he has traveled to different parts of his hometown, and filmed his peers/counterparts, in well known hoods; sort of in the same fashion as ''You So Crazy's" (AL Shearer) once did, while filming ''Hits From The Streets". CeoSonSon has been, and still is, an important asset to many, in the neighboring areas, who eagerly looks forward to him visiting, on any given day, for their moments of VLog fame, as they earnestly and honestly enjoy every second of it.

CeoSonSon released the mixtape ''1 Year Later'', which was hosted by DJ Holiday in (2016). His studio album ''The Statement'', was published in (2018). To add, he has written several single tracks, to include ''I Got Issues'' (2017), ''By My Lonely'' (2018), ''Sins & Blessings'' (2018), ''Paid For It'' (2018), and lastly, ''Today'' (2019).
