CEREMONY - mainstream hard rock with a gem vocalist from Australia with a worldwide album release scheduled for March 2007. The album release will be supported by an intense North American Tour and two broadcast quality videos with a comprehensive marketing strategy in place.

Biography

CEREMONY: Five piece rock band from Australia are hailed by critics and audiences alike.

Ceremony’s musical style and sonic landscape is the melodic guitar driven rock of Tuki and Tim combined with the lock-tight rhythm section of Squirty and Brad, laying the foundation for the gem vocals and stage presence of front man Cameron Brown to create an electrifying aural and visual experience. The emotion, power and passion they deliver in their live performance combined with catchy and commercial lyrical and musical hooks, synergize to create the signature sound and appeal of Ceremony.

Ceremony entered Modern Music recording studios in Brisbane with former ARIA Producer of the Year, Peter Blyton (Choirboys, BB Steal, Divinyls) to commence work on their debut album. The production skills of Peter Blyton, ably assisted by Stuart Niven, combined with the band’s enthusiasm and energy, has resulted in a debut album of great songs from power rock through to melodic mid tempo ballads.

The band signed a distribution deal with MRA Entertainment ( Australia’s largest independent distributor)

Ceremony is represented exclusively (North America) by A/R Group International and have signed with independent label Pound Hill (Canada).

A/R Group International is currently re-mastering the album and shopping the band to labels and distributors (Major & Indy) and creating an intense tour of Canada and the US. Two videos will be pushed to MTV, Much Music and Canadian Music TV in North America when the album is released worldwide in March 2007. A FULL line of Ceremony merchandise is available.

Ceremony’s debut video was directed by Chris Fitzgibbon (RATM, Divinyls) and filmed by cinematographer Mark Bliss on location at the historic landmark Boggo Road Jail in Brisbane. This former penal institution was the perfect setting for the "Seventh Wonder" video shoot. The "Filthy Grudge" video was filmed on location at a fine exotic entertainment establishment. Both videos are a must see for industry professionals considering Ceremony for their rosters. The band is destined to create a major impact on the international music scene. Their growing number of fans is a testament to the rapid development of this great rock band that just loves getting on a stage and putting on an amazing show.
A comprehensive distribution, marketing, merchandise and touring strategy is being agressively developed.

Seventh Wonder

Written By: CEREMONY

Seventh Wonder

Verse 1
Oh baby can you help me
I feel I’m slipping through
My eyes see danger and I don’t know what to do
Verse 2
I’m hiding running scared
I think it’s in my head
I feel your danger and I don’t know what to do, yeah
Pre Chorus
I ain’t leaving here, I ain’t leaving you
The seventh wonder is true, yeah
I ain’t leaving here, I ain’t leaving you
The seventh wonder is you, ohh
Verse 3
To hell with caution this time
I’ve nothing left to lose
I see your danger and I don’t know what to do
Verse 4
I’m hiding running scared
But I know it’s in my head
I feel your fire but I don’t know what to do, yeah
Pre Chorus
Chorus
If I told you everything, would you believe that it’s true
And if we both had nothing, would it matter to you
And if you held on to my heart
Could you pull me through my love

Repeat Chorus

“Baby me, myself alone!”

Outro
The seventh wonder is true “Save me baby!”
The seventh wonder is you “Save, save, save!”
The seventh wonder is true “Save me baby!”
The seventh wonder is you “Save, save, SAVE!!!”

Filthy Grudge

Written By: CEREMONY

Filthy Grudge

Verse 1
This is for all the people of the world
Who are sick & tired of being told what to do
Don’t want no rules, don’t want no regulations
We can hold the force right across the nations

Verse 2
Stressing who we are, enforcing what we need
Why don’t you listen when we stand up and speak
We’re screaming out, but there’s always suffocation
Why won’t you people give us room to fucking breath, yeah!

Verse 3
One’s good, two’s better, three’s fine, and
All you’re doing is thieving robbing blind
Stealing from the poor & giving to the rich
To make a simple man’s life harder than it is

Verse 4
Taking from the people who need the money most
Keep friends at a distance & your enemies close
We’re feeling kind of stung like you’ve taken all our pride
No wonder all these people are taking their own lives, yeah

Pre Chorus
I got a filthy grudge

Chorus
Silver lined pockets the rest of your life
I got a filthy grudge
You people have no morals just so long as you’re fine
I got a filthy grudge

Verse 5
This is for all you people of the world
Who are sick & trucking tired of being told what to do
Don’t want your rules; don’t want your regulations
We’ll stick it up the arse of all those politicians!

Pre Chorus
We got a filthy grudge

Chorus
