Feeling a bit camera shy

Let us take you on an incredible journey through time and space… to a place where the laws of universe do not apply... where music, love, passion and emotion reign supreme. Let us open your mind and free your spirit... Follow us into a CERTAIN DAZE.

This psychedelic, rock-driven band keeps the mind immersed in their unique, ethereal sound. The innovative guitar rhythms walk you through the landscape, the bass and drums form the ground beneath you, while the searing solos elevate you above. The songs themselves sound as if they are carved out of clouds, but still remain potent and moving. Listen closely and you can hear their souls connect; give into the music and your soul will drift to a whole new world inhabited by music and peace. Give into that Certain Daze.

Guitarist/Vocalist Daniel Pouse, started his musical path studying the violin but his rock music interests soon brought him to the guitar. Aspiring to some of rock legends he admires; Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Jim Morrison, Jimi Hendrix and Eric Clapton, he began crafting his guitar and songwriting skills. In his high school years, he improved his skills and started performing his material with local musicians. This gave birth to some of his early work such as "Free and Easily" and "Rise to the Occasion". Later the band disbanded and new members started to emerge.

Drummer Kyle Pouse, Daniel's younger brother was handed down a 1958 Ludwig drum set from his grandfather which initiated his music career. Influenced by Mitch Mitchell, John Bonham, and Chad Smith, he began collaborating with his brother creating riveting beats and fills for Daniel’s work. Spending hours honing their music and sound, they soon realized it was time to start sharing their music with the world.

Bass player Jamie Uriostegui was fascinated by the brothers' style of music and instantly wanted to be a part of the action. His passion for great music and his drive to succeed made him the perfect candidate for the role and has contributed to the band's intense sound ever since.

Certain Daze has recently completed recording the first half of their album, “Free and Easily”. They chose this as the title song because the band feels it’s a good motto for living your life, both in the music world and the real world.
