Bio

When 18-year old Cetan Clawson and his crew recorded their first-ever project, White Heat, in the summer of 2006, it garnered international attention of radio broadcasts from Amsterdam radio (88.3 fm- Radio Patapoe), Radio Coteaux 99.7 (Toulouse, France) to Philadelphia/NJ Radio 91.7 fm and Providence, RI-BSU 88.1 FM, Popscene With Jalal/Radio Bremen, Germany 92.5 FM/101.85 FM, and RIFF2 Detroit, selling copies all over the world, from Australia to the U.K. Veterans of the metro-Detroit music scene, they have shared show lineups and festival bills with some of the best in national and regional entertainment, such as The Go, Bad Company, Cheap Trick, Aquarius Void, The Skeemin' No Goods, The Displays, the Hard Lessons, Siddhartha, Dutch Pink, The Detroit Cobras, Citizen Smile, The Dirty Americans, Deborah Coleman, and Gunner Ross and TNT, Madcat Ruth, Sheri Kane, Chubby Carrier, and more, where they had ample time to develop their stage act and showmanship.

In 2007, with the new lineup, 19-year old Cetan and his group established their sound and style in the Detroit scene with relentless show dates and regional midwest mini-tours. Among the highlights included was a festival slot at the prestigious Comerica Cityfest (which pulls 500,000 in attendance annually), the Metro Times Blowout, FOX 2 Detroit TV, FOX 36 TV, 89.3 WHFR FM, 88.1 FM BSR - Providence, RI, and an indie radio campaign spanning 3 continents and 6 countries. A healthy indie/DIY attitude - and the intensity of their live act - all plays a part making a name that is earning new fans show by show, in an ever-increasing regional radius. With plans to tour nationally in 2008 in support of the upcoming release The Feedback Gospel, the end result is raw, explosive onstage artistry characterized by blistering renditions of vintage songs, in perfect marriage with the freshness of original works and the experimentation of new ideas in song structure and tonal verve. For music lovers who are tired of fluff, teenibopper pop, and commercialized glam, dig this.
