I was born in Messina (Sicily, ITALY).

I graduated at the Conservatory in Reggio Calabria in 1999, where I studied both classic music and composition. My activity in the Conservatory is very prolific, but this fact did not prevent me to attend University, in fact in 2004 I graduated in Educational Sciences discussing a thesis dealing with Social Psychology including surveys effected among students attending the Conservatory.

Beyond classical studies I studied also jazz with pianist Salvatore Bonafede. In 2006 I got the Diploma in Jazz Music at the Conservatory in Messina; I discussed a thesis, which was published on the "Books" of the Conservatory “A. Corelli” in Messina: it concerned the PARIS CONCERT held by Bill Evans in 1979.

Then I got also a Degree in Jazz Music (Conservatory of Messina, Italy).

I attended several jazz courses in order to improve my technique with famous musicians like Salvatore Bonafede, Hal Galper, Garrison Fewell, Billy Harper, Roberto Gatto, Giovanni Mazzarino, Dado Moroni, Dario Deidda, Bob Mintzer, Samuele Garofoli, Gabriele Pesaresi, Matthew Nicholl, Scott Free, Ron Savage,Huw Warren...

In 2005 I'm awarded “best young musician” in a jazz competition.

In 2008 I attended the Umbria Jazz Clinics in Perugia with teachers from Berklee Collge of Music (Boston), where I gained a scholarship to attend the Berklee College of Music.

Then I got the nomination in the "Italian Jazz Awards Luca Flores 2009" for the category “Brand New Jazz Act".

My activity as a performer involves my playing for many Companies and Associations like l'A. Gi. Mus (Ragusa), Vatican Radio (Vatican City, Italy), Symphonic Choir Association" (Rome, Italy), Mantova Musica Festival (Mantova, Italy), Festival of the Italian Conservatories (Como, Italy), Theater in Messina (Sicily, Italy), Theater in Francavilla di Sicilia (Sicily, Italy), Fondazione Villa Piccolo (Sicily, Italy),Fondazione Adkins Chiti "Donne in Jazz" (Roma, Italy), Piacenza Jazz Fest (Piacenza), Festival "Non Solo Jazz" (Agrigento, Italy), PiazzaJazz Festival 2009 (Piazza Armerina, Italy, playing with Adam Nussbaum), "Culture Night" in Messina (Sicily, Italy) playing in Boston (Berklee College of Music) and view directly in Messina, Musical “The Aristocats” (Theater in Messina, Italy), Umbria Jazz Festival 2010 (Berklee on The Road, performing as a pianist at the Morlacchi Teather, Perugia, Italy. The concert was reviewed by JazzTimes Magazine, October, 2010, USA).
Also, I appeared as a pianist and composer in a few TV shows as "Jazz Life" (RED TV, ROme, Italy, 2008 and 2009), Smart Time (Sicily, Italy, 2009) and other important TVs.

I have published my first CD called "Pristine" which contains my own compositions and arrangements. For that work I received many positive reviews by many musical magazines ("Jazzit", "MusicaJazz", "Sentireascoltare", "JazzMAgazine", "Nonsolojazz", "Soundcontest" and many other jazz magazines). The album is available on www.widesound.it (Wide Sound catalogue), on iTunes and in all the music stores.

I have been teaching Musical Education and Classical and Jazz Piano in some public and private schools in Italy (Middle School and High School, from 2006 until now).

I graduated at Berklee College of Music (Boston, MA, USA) majoring in Jazz Composition.

Actually I'm working as piano accompanist for the Boston Ballet School (Boston, MA, USA).
