""Big Wayne" in April/May 2009 Relix"

"Brook-lo-fornia's own Cold Flavor Repair has been stylistically bridging the gap between east and west since 2002. From greasy down-home funk to soaring yacht-rock balladry, CFR takes the listener inside a universe populated by shady relatives, hustlers and ladies lovin' on ladies. "Big Wayne" was recorded at the Space in NYC by engineer Raeann Zchokke (Gov't Mule, Black Crowes)." - Relix Magazine

"Just a short note to say how much I enjoyed Cold Flavor Repair and Moonalice at the benefit tonight at the Great American Music Hall." - Jorma Kaukonen

New single "Big Wayne" will be featured on a CD in the April/May issue of Relix Magazine.

Our debut EP "Welcome to Brook-lo-fornia" is due out in spring of 2009.

“Brook-lo-fornia’s Own” Cold Flavor Repair was originally formed in early 2002 when keyboardist/vocalist Andy “An-Draws” Gladding joined the rhythm section of “Stick-It” Steven Camarillo (bass/vocals) and Brad “Cribs” Kelly (drums/percussion/vocals) to combine elements of ‘70’s and ‘80’s funk and pop with an improvisational edge and a darkly tongue-in-cheek sense of humor. The original trio of Andy, Steven and Brad spent several years developing their chops and original songs, playing all over the greater New York City area while tightening their sound into a cohesive syncopation of funk, rock, pop, jazz and R&B. With the addition of Anthony “Anaconda” Anglero (vocals/percussion) and Rudy “Rom Pom Pis” De La Rosa (percussion/vocals) in 2006, along with new members Linda “L-Dubs” Chavez and Greg “G-Stacks” Grispart (horns), plus Sean “Bayou” Bradley (guitar/vocals), Cold Flavor Repair (or CFR for short) has vastly expanded their sound, adding an all-new set of influences while still retaining the band’s trademark “Brook-lo-fornia” soul. Truly an All-American band (members hail from everywhere from California to Florida to New York), in 2007 CFR began traveling outside of their NYC home base, sharing stages with legendary acts such as Hot Tuna, Chris Barron (Spin Doctors), Papa Mali, Moonalice and more. The band anxiously looks forward to spreading their message of funky love to all reaches of the world (and beyond!) in 2009.
