Bio

Christian-Olivier "Chabin" Muller-Poitevien, was born October 9th, 1989 in Tampa. But soon moved to Port-au-Prince, Haiti where he was raised for 15 years. Chabin always had an ear for music. Whether it was in the courtyard during lunch time or in class. Chabin was always creating some kind of beat. In 2004, Chabin left Haiti due to ongoing political problems and moved to Miami. It was not until his college years, after flowing on a dance House mix, that Chabin discovered his talent and real love for music. Since that day, Chabin has been working on improving his song writing skills, his singing abilities and his flow. In 2007, after performing at a Florida Atlantic University Carnival show, Chabin met with Nashi (from the island of Jamaica), who was impressed by talent, and ever since then, they have been working together. The duo released their first single "Island Girls". Chabin than met with producer Robb Hood, who to, saw a future star in him and decided to work with him.

Formed in 2010 Kamau Productions is a team of musicians and producers ( Chabin, Nashi and Bless X) that brings the best of house, pop, dance and reggae all under one roof, without sacrificing the integrity of any particular genre. While focusing on ensuring the best in music quality and production, from the blending of different styles and sounds, Kamau Productions takes the ever changing world of music to new heights. A strong backdrop rooted in the music of the Caribbean, Kamau Productions has tailored a sound that captures the essence of the contemporary popular music scene styling some of basic the ‘Four-on-the-floor’ dance beats.
