"Rappers Rally against Gun Violence"

Chach Spoke in the video portal of the Toronto Sun. Click "Play" - Toronto Sun

"Policing Not Only Answer To Gun Violence."

Both videos were featured on CTV Nov 26th 2010 on the 6pm and 11pm newscasts.
“With her music Chach tries to promote positive music.”…. CTV News Toronto Sneha Kulkarni - CTV Toronto

"Call to ban guns in rap music draws little support."

“Chach said she believes there is an issue in the hip-hop community. She added the fact more artists didn’t show their support sends the message that they don’t see their music as a contributing factor.” - Toronto Star

"Singer, rappers speak out against gun violence in the city."

"I'm about positivity. Don't take everything you listen to to heart," cautioned Chach, who
wants music to be an instrument that mobilizes. "I'm here to speak out. I'd like to think of myself as a positive influence. If you think positive, good things will happen to you." - Inside Toronto Magazine

Discography

“Long Time” is Chach’s fourth release following her three successful underground records; Until, Luv and Starlight. It's her first single to hit the “mainstream” radio waves and made it to #1 in Edmonton in July/2010. Chach’s third and self-produced
release “Starlight” was voted #4 on the top 10 picks for August 2010 by legendary DJ, Tony Humphries. This is the 3rd record by Chach, to reach a top ten spot.

On October 16th 2010, her single "Longtime" lead the famous Chris Mix at 3pm on Toronto's mainstream Flow 93.5FM and is often heard on Tricky Moreira’s “This House” segment on the same station. She is starting a cause in the community related to drug abuse which will be chronicled on her upcoming single "Addicted." Chach performed at Pacha Lounge in April 2010 and the "Heal the world" event at College bar in Toronto February 2010. She is also looking to get booked for Canadian Music Week 2011, Junofest 2011, Pride Fest and more gigs around town.

Bio

Growing up in a culturally diverse area in Toronto's west end is what Chach says attributed to her unique sound and style. Singing and writing songs from as early as 6, she knew her life path was in music. Writing everything from "Pop" to "House" to "Reggae” gives her the ability to reach diverse audiences and has set her apart from the start. After contributing to some mixed tapes Chach began recording with Big Black Lincoln's Shakari Nyte, and released her first single, a soulful house track "Until". “Until” debuted in the top 10 on the electro charts and was given the remix treatment by Ron Allen, Nick Holder, Jason B and Hi Definition.

Club play came from countries across the globe including the U.K and Germany. When asked who her influences are Chach says she is influenced by music itself but lists artists such as James Brown, Madonna, and the Eurythmics. “I love everything from old Motown to reggae to underground house" she laughs. It also speaks of her drive to conquer the music world with a multitude of genres. "If I can drop a single in the U.K., drop another in Jamaica, then drop one in the U.S and Canada - why not?" she asks. "Creativity holds no boundaries". This
motivation has led Chach to have a hand in all aspects of her music - she not only writes and sings but has built her own studio and produced her release "Starlight". She jokingly calls herself
"She Diddy" and admits to being a control freak about her music, but it's clear it comes from a genuine love of the art form." I take my music very seriously; it's my baby, she says. "I've been
through a lot and music has always been my release."

And while the release comes in the form of her lyrics as a vehicle for escape, a place to vent, and a way to tell her story, it also comes from the satisfaction of filling a dance floor. “I love to go out, I love music, and I love hearing that wicked track in the club that makes you have to move” Chach says. With her third single "Starlight" making its mark, and her "Long Time" single feat
Snow hitting the airwaves, her incredibly diverse debut album "Myndseye" is definitely something to look forward to; right now Chach’s music is the sound people clamour to hear in the
clubs. Touching on house, electro, soul and much more, there’s something for everyone. Her new upcoming singles “Lovesick”, “Get Up” and “Addicted” are songs that are sure to capture the
ears of the listener.
