It's music that fits a mood, sometimes it's a happy one, other times, it's somber. Whatever the mood maybe, you can count on the song being sincere and delivered with soul. Former frontman of Ja Fizz, a jam outfit that garnered such attention to merit a Best Jamband award at the 2004 Asbury Music Awards; Chad has ever been a songwriter. Early inspirations came from the music heard around the house; James Taylor, the Beatles, John Denver, Cat Stevens. A sound filld with folk-angst and blue-eyed inspiration would be firmly planted as a seed to the musical map he now reads from. Hard at work for the past year at Ostropotamus Studios, he will release a full length album at the end of the summer. Look for songs that span a spectrum of taste; a funky, folk rock jam, a gospel ballad, a country twanged piece, among many others. The Chad Bauer Band is his current live band. Joined by bassist Paul Parker, dummer Marcus Croan, and the newest member, guitarist Jim Parker, they look forward to what the future holds....more songs that Chad will write, holding nothing back.
