CHADBOURNe Makes Sunset Strip Debut at Viper Room.

Singer-Poet-Musician to unveil new musical genre “Beat-Blues” Aug. 9th @ 10pm.

CHADBOURNe will make his debut performance on the Historic Sunset Strip at the Viper Room’s acoustic lounge August 9th at 10pm.

The originator of “Beat-Blues”, a musical genre fusing the passion of spoken-word Beat-Poetry with the raw emotional power of the Blues, CHADBOURNe has a vocal delivery reminiscent of a young, cognizant Beck, which then explodes into a raspy howl akin to Chris Cornell from Soundgarden and Audioslave. CHADBOURNe plans to play crowd favorites “Café Muse”, “Ugly Little Lemons”, “Yours” and “The Bear Song” among others.

“That’s real honest music,” said David Williams, owner of Melrose Music at Raleigh Studios.

CHADBOURNe “has the most essential ingredients: creative spirit, energy, attitude and the willingness to learn,” said Brian Patterson, owner of DVD-IT media consulting and open-mic MC around the Los Angeles area.

“Very inventive and emotional,” musical arranger and composer Charlie Harrison said of CHADBOURNe. “Great songs.”

The Viper Room opened in 1993 and its seedy, storied history is a perfect match for CHADBOURNe’s filthy lyrical poetry and down-and-dirty acoustic stylings.
