My music is a mixture of folk country and blues that sits on a foundation of songwriting, not often heard today. I pull heavily on the reigns of song-craft and strive to write in a way that reaches the listener to the very core of everyday life.

I owe a lot of credit to this man for my knowledge of music. From the first time we met we became brothers in soul. He inspired me to follow my own love for instrumentation and add new meaning to my life. I've always been astounded by his story telling skill and even more so by how he makes his guitar sing a universal language that anyone with ability to hear can understand. I've known him since his days of psychedelic blues, deep southern blues, funk, reggae, and Jazz, until he finally landed in his pallet of a Country Folk singer and songwriter. His acoustic sets conjure a plethora of emotions and are always stuffed with passion and presence. He makes you feel his memories as if they were your own. His songwriting technique has a simple formula, "this is what happened, this is how I feel about it, this is how my guitar feels about it." A teacher, none the less, and wiser than his body alludes to. And as old as his style may seem, the allegory of his experiences are relevant to contemporary ideas. I thank him for his teachings, leadership, and contributions as an artist. Forever my brother in Soul, Chad Mooney.
