"I had to tell you the CD is great. The 2 of you really sound super. It knocked me out. You are a great singer girl. You shine. Elisha ain't bad either. And he can play, and produce. I still want him to produce a couple of my tunes. Anyway I just had to tell you.
Keep Singing,
David

Amy,
Thank you for your kind words. It was a joy working with you to help assure
a successful performance at Congregation Etz Chaim in Atlanta. You have a
commanding voice and a youthful energy that will greatly enhance the 2008
Jewish Festival. I have already written Dr. Artie Gumer and told him about you
and your musical group. The crowd at Etz Chaim adored you and those who
will listen to your performance during the festival next year will be even more
captivated.
Please do not hesitate to contact me if I can assist you in any way.
Appreciatively yours,
Paul Kroland

Dear Chai Fi-
Once again this year the Akiva community was incredibly fortunate to have you headline our musical Havdallah event in support of the arts at Akiva. Your talents and clear connection to the music inspired us all. I can not begin to tell you how many people continue to be touched by your music. I would like to share that we have begun the process of creating a fine arts/music room at Akiva. Your concerts have helped launch us along this path. For this we owe you a debt of gratitude. It is my hope to finish this room within the next 8 months. I will be very excited to show you the final product...which we can only hope helps to teach our kids to grow up loving music as much as you all do.
With much gratitude,
Bob Berk - Principal Akiva Community Day School

Bio
Chai Fi met while recording a liturgical CD for a synagogue in Nashville. They liked working together but wanted to spread their wings a little more and explore each other's musical souls.
Chai Fi's music is an edgy fusion of classic rock with a pinch of eighties thrown in for flavor and the unexpected twist of Nashville Hebrew without much twang. So, if you are looking for a Debbie Friedman or Klezmer sound, you are looking in the wrong place. But if you dig Soulfarm, Fleetwood Mac, Stevie Nicks, Pat Benatar, Neshama Carlebach, Chrissie Hynde, The Pretenders, Maria McKee, Lone Justice, Carrie Underwood, Linda Ronstadt or Yom Chadash, read on! Chai Fi has played for West End Synagogue, Akiva Jewish Community Day School, Songs for Israel, Hadassah National Convention, Sisterhood Regional Convention, Vanderbilt University Jewish Studies students, Nashville Federation...
Their version of "Shir L'Shalom" is featured on Voices for Israel's compilation CD, "Keeping the Faith."
