Born and bred in Orlando East, Soweto on the 17th of July 1995, Tshepo Setlhaku Aka “ChalleeXxx” to his fans, is a pure talented artist who loves everything that is art related. ChalleeXxx grew up in Orlando East where he discovered and embraced his passion for music, dancing and being a computer nerd.
The 22-year old Artist discovered his passion for music at the age of 16, then he joined local dance crews around his area until he started a dance crew called “Pro Fam”. He and his group attended world class dance competitions like “The Red Bull Beat Battle, SA’s Got Talent” and auditioned at television shows like “Jam Alley, Can Do, So you Think you can dance “ to mention a few.
During His Pre-Matric ChalleeXxx started toning down with dance career and focused on improving his grades, he later got accepted at “University of the Witwatersrand” to Pursue a degree in B.sc in Civil Engineering.
“I and Flecx started skipping class and staying in just to write rhymes, crazy thing… it was just before our year end exams, we still passed though” says ChalleeXxx. He and his High School friend and business partner Thapelo Machobane AKA Scott Flecx, started a clothing brand called “Juice Swag’n” Later on that year.
In 2017 ChalleeXxx got academically excluded by the intsitution. He took His allowance Started his Label “Premier Edge (Pty) Ltd” and Built a bedroom studio, where he spent most of his time studying the music business, with a goal of being able to produce professional full projects and successfully release them to his fans, ChalleeXxx looked up to a lot of motivational speakers like Grant Cardone, Eric Thomas “Good things work best for those who make the best of how they work”, these words stayed at the back of his head and influenced Charlies desire to do more.
ChalleeXxx released Two Ep’s “Still Stonned” and “199X” Which he Produced and Engineered by himself he also worked with local upcoming artists like Spizzy 47, Two Sick Muffin, Tone Beats, Scott Flecx, Calli Brazy on projects rendering engineering and productions services.
He was credited as an executive producer on the following projects,

DayOneGang – Low Key
Spizzy 47 – Neighbourhood Phases [EP]


He also produced three Beat Tapes during the year 2017 only namely
Humble Beginnings – 28 Track Beat tape
Bloodline – 20 Track Beat Tape
New Lane – 17 Track Beat tape
Late 2017, Using his Online marketing expertise ChalleeXxx started putting up beats for sale on his YouTube channel and beat store called “Edge Beatz” this way he could pay bills and maintain his music career.
He is about to release his first Beat tape “No feelings” dated on the 9th DECEMBER 2018 followed by his 1st official Mixtape Titled “Positive” on the 23rd of NOVEMBER 2018.
Currently the most accomplished hip-hop Musician in SA, ChalleeXxx continues to share his talent, he has now produced over 600 records which include both his beat tapes and records he produced for his alibies artists.
The more achievements and rewards ChalleeXxx receives, the bigger he dreams! ChalleeXxx is also spending time in recording and dance studios, which will bring more unexpected surprises in 2019
